Standing at the mid-point of this thesis marathon, I try to pick up all the feedback I got along the way and make a solid plan for the next steps.

The feedback from the final presentation last semester:

General
The research and pain points are clearly explained.
You are building a marketplace in another type. You are trying to shine a light on everyone who worked on the project. This is very valuable.
This AR piece is exciting. AR platform might be more interesting for investors.

Questions
Try to interview a couple of businesses to understand how they usually recruit freelancers. What will motivate them to use this service?
Interview more people to see if they prefer an AR platform to a web browser plugin.
Freelancers are still waiting for the companies to pick them out at random. Is there a way for the freelancers’ effort to be directly tied to the results(to connect to the business)?
How does this product set itself apart from the other existing freelancers’ platforms even further?
How is AR been used in this space and other spaces? Is AR still something that’s developing? What is the future trend of that?

Now I am here, 3 months away from the deadline. As the delivery day is approaching, I have hope and fears at the same time.
Hopes: I am excited about the final product. Since all the people I talked to are excited about it.
Fears: There are still many obstacles between me and success. I am not an expert in AR tech. There is still much work to do. Looking ahead, a lot of things with uncertainty is waiting for me. The future is challenging and stressful.

Reflection Exercise
